Gyp DeCarlo - Stephen Jones

Having reignited his passion for musical theatre in the ensemble for MTD’s production of Les Misérables (2021), Steve feels very privileged to be cast alongside Dunedins finest performers in Jersey Boys. Despite Covid putting a damper on what would have been a banger of a production We Will Rock You, Steve found himself back in front of the crowds in the highly acclaimed Rock Tenors (2022). Singing and performing has always been a part of Steve's life, taking part in a number of school productions and regional choirs as a youngster. He currently trains under Ben Johnson from The Voice Lab NZ and can’t wait to perform with this amazingly talented cast and production team!
